The flowers in spring, The moon in autumn, The cool breeze in summer, The snow in winter... If you have nothing left to worry about in your heart, These would be the perfect things in your life. Written by the Zen Master Wu Men, this poem describes the atmosphere we strive to create in Dalu Mufu Hotel. Dali Mufu International Youth Hotel was previously the mansion of Lord Mu. We have restored it in the traditional Bai ethnic style while retaining its former layout. Despite being located in a secluded area, there is plenty of access to nearby areas. It is 6-8 minutes walk from the central Foreigners Street and Renmin Road, Erhai Lake is just 10 minutes away by bicycle and there are taxis outside the hotel, which are always ready to take you anywhere around the ancient city. As the original facilities were in a state of disrepair, modern materials have been used during restoration to improve the comfort and safety of our guests. The first floor of Dali Mufu Hotel has a beautiful Bai courtyard with a decorative screen wall. The room to the left of the entrance is called Britain Hall and it was originally used by Lord Mu to greet his guests. It is now a communal area for our guests to relax and socialise. On the other side of the building is the Southeast Asia Hall, which used to be a meeting place for diplomatic envoys. Nowadays it has been transformed into the traditional-themed Yinshi Restaurant. It has become so popular that customers will sometimes queue for their food. The building has been smartly designed so that hotel guests can enjoy themselves regardless of how many customers are in the restaurant. The second floor of the hotel houses our guest rooms, with the western-facing rooms looking up to a magnificent view of Cangshan (Cang Mountain). Out of all the rooms in the hotel, the Flower Room stands out with its carved doors leading out on to the balcony. You can enjoy your afternoon tea here while watching the view of Cang Mountain. The Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter rooms, facing eastwards, all come with a traditional Kang Bed. You will have a great view of the Bai courtyard when you open the carved windows. The Lord's room is located at the end of the corridor. The neighbouring rooms were used by diplomatic envoys and are now rooms of French and Bohemian style. On the third floor are the Snow and Moon rooms, from which you can stragaze at night or watch the white clouds float across the blue sky during the day. Perhaps you haven't seen a sky full of stars in a long time? Some guests have complained because they were up all night counting stars. Dali Mufu Hotel is the only building in Dali that combines the traditional architecture of the Bai culture with the history of Lord Mu and his family. The rooms available include Wind, Flower, Snow and Moon, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, the Lord's Room and the diplomatic envoy rooms. You will need to book one month in advance during the peak holiday season, so plan before you visit Dali otherwise you will be disappointed for missing out on such a fantastic experience. We at Dali Mufu Hotel welcome you to stay with us during any season in any of our fantastic rooms. Beautiful Night by Teresa Teng You said that you will never forget, The stars of that night, I said that I will never forget, That you were by my side, Listening to the night wind blowing through our ears, Singing its song softly.
